At Side Filo Rent a Car, we aim to provide our customers with a safe, transparent, and high-quality car rental experience. This Rental Terms document ensures that you clearly understand your rights and responsibilities throughout the rental process. Please read these terms carefully before making a reservation.
1. Rental Period and Delivery Conditions
- Minimum rental period: 24 hours.
- For rentals exceeding 24 hours, the daily rental rate will apply.
- The rented vehicle must be returned on the date and time stated in the agreement.
- Late return fee: For delays exceeding 1 hour, an additional daily rental charge will apply.
- Vehicles can be picked up and returned at the designated delivery and return points. Free delivery is available in Antalya Airport, Side, Manavgat, Belek, Alanya, Kemer, Lara, and surrounding areas (subject to prior confirmation).
2. Age and Driver’s License Requirements
- Economy and standard class vehicles: Minimum 21 years of age and at least 2 years of valid driving license (Category B).
- SUV, Premium, and Luxury vehicles: Minimum 25 years of age and at least 3 years of valid driving license.
- International customers must present a valid national driving license or an International Driving Permit.
3. Reservation, Payment, and Deposit
- Reservations can be made via our website, phone, WhatsApp, or in our office.
- A prepayment or credit card authorization may be required to confirm the reservation.
- Accepted payment methods: Cash, credit card, bank transfer.
- At vehicle delivery, a security deposit will be taken based on the vehicle group. This amount will be refunded if the vehicle is returned without damage, missing fuel, or fines.
- Deposit refunds are made in cash or via bank transfer and may take 3-5 business days depending on bank processing times.
4. Fuel Policy
- Vehicles are delivered with the fuel level stated in the contract and must be returned at the same level.
- If returned with less fuel, the cost of the missing fuel plus a service fee will be charged.
- The Full to Full policy applies (pick up full, return full).
5. Insurance and Coverage
- All our vehicles are covered by compulsory traffic insurance and comprehensive insurance.
- The insurance does not cover:
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Use of the vehicle by unauthorized drivers
- Damages caused by traffic law violations
- Off-road driving, racing, or speed testing
- Tire, glass, and headlight insurance and additional coverage packages are available upon request.
- In case of damage under insurance coverage, a traffic accident report and alcohol test report must be obtained.
6. Usage Conditions
- Vehicles may only be used within the borders of Turkey.
- Only drivers named in the rental contract may operate the vehicle.
- Any mechanical or visual modifications to the vehicle are prohibited.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
- If pets are to be transported, the company must be informed in advance.
- In case of dirt, stains, or bad odors inside the vehicle, a detailed cleaning fee will be charged.
7. Traffic and Parking Fines
- All traffic fines, tolls, and bridge fees incurred during the rental period are the renter’s responsibility.
- Fine amounts will be charged to the renter at the time of vehicle return or afterwards.
- Toll charges (HGS/OGS) will be calculated at the end of the rental and billed to the renter.
8. Breakdown and Accident Procedures
- In case of breakdown or accident, contact our company before moving the vehicle.
- In the event of an accident:
- Obtain a police and traffic accident report.
- Provide an alcohol test report.
- Document the damage with photographs.
- In case of breakdown, free roadside assistance is provided (in some remote areas, towing fees may apply).
9. Cancellations and Reservation Changes
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
- No refund will be made for late cancellations or no-shows.
- Reservation changes are subject to vehicle availability.
10. Disclaimer
- Side Filo Rent a Car is not responsible for any material or moral damages caused by the renter’s negligence or fault.
- The company is not responsible for the loss of personal belongings during the rental period.
